To Infinity & Beyond!
All eyes were on the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Monday, August 29 as they attempted to launch Artemis I to the moon. The engines had some issues reaching correct temperatures for lift off. Artemis I will be the beginning to a long range plan for humans to be present on the moon. Weather permitting, the new launch date is scheduled for Saturday, September 3 with an expected mission duration of 37 days! https://www.nasa.gov/specials/artemis-i/
The unfortunate reschedule is great news for the hobby enthusiast! It's not too late to have your own backyard launch in conjunction with the Artemis I launch!
Model rockets are just like when you were a kid, only today they are better, safer and have more features and capabilities. Introduce your kids to fun of model rockets.
We can ship model rocket motors but it must be done using ground shipping only and delayed shipping times due to the hazardous nature and manual handling.
When using the filters on our website to sort please note that Model Rocket Kits do not include Motors while Model Rocket Sets come with everything needed to launch including motors. Each rocket will have a WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD & WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH section.
Check out all of our rockets here: https://www.whiterosehobbies.com/collections/model-rockets
Last year at the NRHSA conference in Vegas our shop owner's Ryan & Shana practiced assembling and launching their own rocket. If they can do it, so can you!!!
