AMT Model Car & Truck Model Kits

AMT - One of the most popular and historic brands in model kits for over 60 years. They were the first to introduce the 3-in-1 model concept and well know for popular subject matter. Some of the historic kits include classic Star Trek, 1989 Batman movie Batmobile, and an endless list of classic cars. Parent Company Round 2 has also been concentrating on re-releasing classic long out of production plastic model kits.

A bit of history of AMT is that they began producing model cars to be used by car dealers as promotional models. AMT stands for Aluminum Model Toys, interestingly enough making models out of aluminum was abandon after their first Ford promotional model in favor of a new technology: injection modeled plastic.
