Comes with a certificate of authenticity that certifies the loco as a genuine Mantua, and is issued a unique serial number, keyed in to the order in which it was manufactured. (Note: no wood base is included with this item)

The "Lindbergh Special" earned the name when it delivered a newsreel, developed in a converted baggage car, from Washington D.C. to New York City, and had it playing at Broadway theaters an hour before any other news agency even made it to New York City. The film was of a celebration of Lindbergh's non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic, held in Washington D.C. Extra detailing includes brass coal shovel, Pennsy marker light, cut levers, air compressors, brass railings and bell, brass dummy knuckle couplers and more.
